Many different geometric objects can be used for the basis of a beaded bead. Here are examples of how a beaded double pyramid (bottom) and a beaded antiprism (top) can be dressed up with seed beads and drop beads. Both of these variations are discussed in our pattern Ionic Polyhedra.
