S'de Boker necklace
Miriam Shimon Israel Miriam named this necklace after the S'de Boker desert in Israel because it reminded her so much of the colors and feel there. She says everything is golden and dusty, and many wildflowers grow there which remind her of the lush dark garnet stones. The focal is a 6-fold Double Rose Window. The other beaded beads are 4-fold Double Rose Windows (also described in the pattern) and Spinning Tops (follow the link for the free pattern). See more of Miriam Shimon's beadwork in her etsy shop. |
