I was inspired by the work of Craig Kaplan on deformations of tilings from one repeating pattern to another. This beadwork design begins as Night Sky weave on the left and deforms gradually to Kepler's Star in the right. You can see that the simple four-bead stars in Kepler's Star stratch and become the four-pointed stars in the Night Sky Weave. I wrote about this on my blog post Beaded Parquet Deformations.
